Deerfield AYSO - Region 1007

What is EXTRA?

The AYSO EXTRA program is designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills and abilities and to enhance each player’s experience and individual growth through the game of soccer while retaining the spirit and organization of AYSO. The goal of EXTRA is to strengthen AYSO by retaining players and volunteers in additional programs operated under the AYSO philosophies. EXTRA is not designed to overshadow or harm the standard primary program.

Note from Commissioner

Dear Players, Parents, Volunteers and Visitors,

EXTRA volunteer coaches will need advanced AYSO training (at least 12U). Parents of players are also highly encouraged to volunteer as referees for the games. Parents will be able to specify their willingness to volunteer as a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, or Referee on their child’s tryout registration form. In the event we need additional volunteer coaches or referees, preference will be given to players whose parents volunteer to fill those positions.

Please let us know if you have any questions and whether you’d like to sign-up your child for tryouts. Thank you!
