All Park District land is available for use as practice fields (you need only set up the cones that we provide). However, the following are designated areas and fields that area shared with other programs making a schedule necessary.

Please share the fields with others, teams really only need 1/2 of a field to practice.

Do not practice in front of goals.  This creates too much wear and tear on the turf and destroys the grass. 

• Set up cones to use as a target for shooting (unless there is a practice goal available in the park you are using for practice.
• If there is standing water or muddy areas, do not practice in these areas.
• Be courteous to park neighbors.  Please do not walk on private property, and keep soccer balls from going into someone’s yard.
• For practices and games, coaches and parents need to park in legal parking spaces.  The police will ticket cars parked illegally.
• Work with other groups in the park.
• If there are several teams wishing to use the same park for practice, work with each other to avoid any conflicts.
